NeoBards Entertainment is looking for a Rigger whose mission is to build the rigs of characters and animals in a realistic style.
You will work closely with Character Art & Animation teams.

Key Responsibility:

  • Development of real-time rigs for characters and animals, based on mocap data
  • Development of blend shapes and bone based facial riggs.
  • Integration and optimization of rigs in the engine
  • Support character team by debugging rig related issues
  • Update and maintain rigging library and documentation

Required Skills

  • great understanding of rigging and joint mechanics
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in the video game or movie industry
  • Good knowledge of Maya, 3DSMAX, Motion Builder and constraints related to rigging on these software.
  • Knowledge of languages: Python, MaxScript, PyMel, … is a plus.
  • Proactivity around the problems of rig and skinning inherent to the video game
  • Autonomous, organized and with excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach
  • Adaptability, especially in terms of quality and time constraints
  • Comprehensive understanding of human anatomy
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong trouble shooting/problem solving ability
  • unreal engine experience is a must
  • experience with metahuman prefered
  • Fluent in english would be an advantage
