NeoBards Entertainment is looking for an experienced and talented Lead Animator to join our team in Breda. The ideal candidate will lead a team of animators, collaborate closely with other departments and studios, ensuring high-quality animation assets are delivered on schedule. This hands-on position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of animation principles.
Responsibilities

- Lead a team of animators to complete animation tasks within deadlines.
- Ensure consistent quality and adherence to project standards throughout the entire animation process.
- Collaborate with artists, designers, producers, and programmers to create animation concepts that align with project vision and goals.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to keep them informed of progress and address any concerns promptly.
- Review and provide feedback on animation work produced by team members.
- Contribute to the development of animation processes and pipelines to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in animation.
Requirements

- At least 5 years of professional experience as an animator, senior or lead animator in AAA game studios.
- Experience with creating animation for playable characters.
- Strong knowledge of animation principles, techniques, and software.
- Proven ability to manage teams and deliver high-quality animation assets under tight timelines.
- Experience with Unreal Engine
- Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in setting up efficient animation pipelines and workflows using industry-standard tools and techniques.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex ideas visually.
- Portfolio demonstrating a wide range of animation styles and techniques.
- Fluency in English; verbal and written.
- Must be eligible to work in the EU/Netherlands
