Role:

  • Design character movements, transition, and rules of control
  • Design AI behaviors in the game, for players to have interaction
  • Integrate level design and demands in other professional fields, adjust and increase additional features, then compose into specs in documents
  • Use game development tool to integrate and verify character data
  • Responsible for balance of character parameter, optimization, and error-proof

Key Responsibility:

  • Ensure corresponding features and behaviors for the movements of controllable character, non-player and enemy features fits the goal, and enjoyment of the game
  • Ensure legibility of (design) documents, allowing colleagues from different professional field to understand the fun and purpose of game design
  • In charge modifications on final error-proof and quality optimization

Required Skills

  • 2 or more years of professional experience as Game Designer
  • Prior participation in game character design, experience in complete game project production would be a plus
  • Positive and efficient communication skill
  • Understand theory or concept of programming operation, confidence in ability to handle complex logic issues, would be a great plus
  • Familiar with Office series, capable to manage documents
  • Experience with using Unity and Unreal for game production is a plus

Neobards is looking for an extremely talented and experienced senior VFX artist to oversee the creation of the effects on our next ambitious project.

1. Responsible for the creation and delivery of high quality VFX
2. Translates the product art direction into creation guidelines to produce in-game VFX
3. Maintains visibility on the progress and accurately predicts and delivers to deadlines for the team
4. Can work independently and potentially provide guidance for other team members

As a backend programmer, you’ll be responsible for building our meta (gaming) services of a free-to-play mobile title which will be globally operated by our publisher. Hundreds of thousands concurrent users is a minimum requirement.

You are:

  • Mastering multiple programming languages. Javascript/typescript (Nest.js) is our major language but there is no limit. We use other languages as well: Python, Java, Golang, Rust, C/C++, etc. Language diversity is the nature of open sources and the microservice ecosystem.
  • Familiar with microservices architecture. We are using Kubernetes although microservices is more than that.
  • Familiar with one of the three major public clouds. We are using AWS and many cloud native features.
  • Database practices, Postgresql is our primary database and other databases like Redis, Dynamodb, etc. Familiar with cross services transactions (database per service pattern, saga patterns).
  • Mastering Linux.
  • Mastering Internet technologies.

Neobards is looking for an experienced UI Artist to oversee the user interface team of an ambitious project on console.

Role

  • Responsible for the creation and delivery of high quality user experience and interface on a high end platform game.
  • Reflects the guiding principle and art vision of the production in the user interface look and flow.
  • Maintain visibility on the progress and accurately predict and deliver to deadlines.
